P.S.

I'm also grateful for each new day that we have to try to do better at something.

Remembering Gratitude

Yes,it is important to remember your blessings --it gives us more of a sense of gratefulness in our lives and since everyone seems to have blogged about what they're thankful for --here goes:

I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful that all of our sons and a daughter have truly found their eternal companions and I'm thankful for the sweet daughters and son that they are. I'm thankful for ALL of our family-even Amy with her struggles.I'm also very grateful for all of oour grandchildren! What a joy they are!

I'm thankful for the experiences that I have had in life and the lessons that I have learned.

I'm thankful for Utah and the opportunities that we enjoy here.

I'm thankful for the job that we have and our finacial situation.

I'm thankful for our home , food, and warm clothes., and cars.

I'm thankful for the teachings of the church--I don't know where I would be without it.(probably a bum!)I'm very grateful for the atonement and revelation that we receive daily????

I'M GRATEFUL FOR TAP!-IT MAKES ME HAPPY!

I'm grateful that we have people willing to sacrifice for us in the service to our U.S A.

Go Fish???

Yesterday dad and Scott went fishing again. ( Dad had heard that there were lots of fish in Scofield and many anglers caught alot, so they went) Dad and Scott were out there for 4-5 hours and didn't catch a thing, while the person next to them kept reeling them in-BIG ones too! How disgusting! I told them they need to take some fishing lessons--there is a real skill to it-- like getting out there early?! and maybe 'jerking' slightly when you get a nibble???(G'ma Tomlinson could have taught them a thing or too!)(The fish are probably laughing at them.)

I've been bitten too!!!

I've been bitten by the football game bug! I never thought that I would be a football fan--but I absolutely LOVE them.( I guess it comes from having 5 boys) It's all exciting-whether it's the Cougar band playing "Heyyyyy Baby!"; or Cosmo doing his tricks(last time he did about 10 front handstands in a row ( Iguess thats what you call them); or the cheerleaders doing their thing; or people just having fun(last game the kids in our section were throwing paper airplanes and having a contest to where they would land). And of course, there is the game (playing to a sellout crowd of 65,000 about) which is exciting in itself. It's just good clean fun!
P.S.(There's just something about being amongst people with all the same values.)
