Orion Revisited

Here is Orion after stacking 4 pictures and processing, not as much color but a lot more detail.

Adromeda Revisited

I have been playing with the stacking software and processes software. This looks better. Notice the second galaxy in the upper left. Much clearer and Adromeda is beautiful. Next time I want to get 20-30 pictures I can stack and not just 4.

Unknown Galaxy

When I took this picture the galaxy could not be seen but after I stack three pictures and processed it the galaxy showed up. A nice spiral....I should have written down the name...

Pleiades

Pleiades star cluster. Processed on left. I think I missed the center. The two blue stars are part of the cluster. There should be seven large stars, the center is lower. I can't see the stars in the view finder. Still learning.

Adromeda

Have to overexpose to see some of the detail. Notice that it nearly fills the lower half of the picture. the faint fringes are part of the galaxy.

The bright stars are in our galaxy. The fuzz is Andromeda.

Orion

Processed Orion

The gases are what suns are made of. This is where stars are born.

Andromeda

This is the raw unprocessed photo of the andromeda galaxy.

Orion Nebula Messier 42

It was cool and clear and 4:45 am today so I tried to take a few pictures. After a 30 second exposure the picture at right showed up on my camera. This is an uprocessed raw photo. I see what it looks like after stacking and processing. Just wanted to share.
